The weeks keep going and going here in Santiago. I am amazed at how my mission is now to when I thought of it as a boy. I look around me and it’s cold now and there are the Andes with snow cover on them. Half the time, I cant see them because of smog that I am sure may give me health problems one day, but the mission is really cool!
President and Sister William had all of the 'Southern Missionaries" over for BBQ. It was amazing!
Our Investigator Quenne has really been progressing in the gospel and has been coming to church weekly now. She is set for her baptism on the 1st of July and is really progressing. She is so cool.
One day this week, I had a moment of gratitude for what I have in my life. As we were going from house to house and visiting another family, I had overwhelming feelings of gratefulness for what I have. I get to bring people happiness, I get to help people make changes in their lives to have a purpose. I have a family that loves me, I have incredible missionaries around me that are great people, I have Chilean families and people here to teach.
Everything in life is a gift from our Heavenly Father. Our existence and opportunity to live is a precious gift. I think when we stop every once in a while, and just soak it in, it makes it all worth it. There are so many enjoyable things in this life!
