Well,
this week's been good! I have really been enjoying my time here in La
Cisterna and the great ward that I am in! We had a solid week and saw lots of
miracles!
So,
this past Thursday, We had a Family Home Evening with a family from our ward
(Hernandez family) And we brought one of our progressing investigators named
Jovens who is from Haiti!
We
shared about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and had activities to accompany each
principle that we taught.
On
Friday, we had a fantastic day! I was leading the sector and on divisions with
Elder Fernandes de Brasil!! We had a really good day and saw lots of success.
We contacted a lady who is from Bolivia and was really nice to us! We set up a
return date to go and visit her. We also had a really good lesson with the
Moran Zerna family! We talked about what missionary’s purposes really are. It
was interesting to see what they thought. Two of the girls in the family are
members (they are 16 and 19) and they got baptized in Ecuador a few years back and
stated that we were here to help their family get baptized! Really spiritual
lesson that touched their hearts!
On
Monday, we met a Columbian lady by the name of Juliana who was very kind to us.
We were able to visit with her and even shared a short message and left her
with a Book of Mormon to read. We came back for the follow up lesson and she
had read the part we left for her in the book! Her boyfriend also read it!
A few shots of Santiago. I also found a $40 golf shirt for $3! Talk about a deal. And I came across the largest watermelon....
