Never Lose Hope-Pierre's Baptism

What a week it’s been!!! Things went really well for us this week and we were able to see miracles happen here which is always wonderful to witness!!

Let’s see here. Some highlights from the week:

We had a service with a member from our ward and we moved house walls and put them in place for a house that he is constructing!!! It went really well! We poured cement and got the basics done on it!

We had yet another great lesson with Carlos!! He is really prepared and loves coming to church!!! He gets here 10 minutes early each Sunday!!! Such a prepared person! We are really excited for what’s in store for him!

We had a baptism as well!!! On Saturday Pierre got baptized!!! It’s been a work in progress with him but wow was it a great reunion!! He was beyond happy and he really was touched by the entire experience. They had talks in Creole (for the other lady that got baptized) and a wonderful baptismal service. The spirit was really present!

We also were able to set a baptismal date for a wonderful Haitian couple in our ward. The man is baptized and Edna isn’t! They are going to get married in the church at the end of this month and in the following month, she will get baptized!

We met a lady by the name of Cladia who is interested in the primary and having her kids go there! She was really receptive and we have a set up lesson with her this Saturday which we are looking forward too!

Between all of that, we are walking a lot, contacting, working with members and having a great time!!! Weeks like these are the ones I will remember!!
